Using Manual-Backed Fitment Before Ordering Dry Cleaning Parts

Why service teams should confirm part fitment against manuals, photos, model lineage, and machine-specific information before ordering.

Fitment is more than one part number

A part number is important, but it is not the only fitment check. Machines may have substitutions, field modifications, production changes, or part-number variations across brands.

The safest workflow is to confirm the part number, machine model, visible markings, measurements, connector style, port size, voltage, and any serial-range clues before the order is finalized.

What to send when asking for help

For best results, include the machine brand, model, serial number if available, photos of the installed part, photos of data plates or labels, and any old invoice or manual reference. Clear photos reduce delays and improve the chance of a correct first shipment.
